Account Mgr, USAF, USAF

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a sales leader to support our Air Force Information and Intelligence customers. In this role you will prospect and close net‑new business while managing an existing portfolio of customers. The focus is driving revenue, adoption, and market penetration in the USAF, developing business and go‑to‑market strategies, collaborating across AWS, and engaging with customers and industry partners to accelerate adoption.

• Drive revenue and market share in a defined region
• Accelerate customer adoption and satisfaction
• Maintain a robust sales pipeline
• Work with partners to extend reach and drive adoption
• Manage contract negotiations
• Develop strategic relationships with key accounts
• Meet regularly with DoW executive leaders and mission owners to understand their mission requirements

• 5+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C‑level executives
• Bachelor’s degree
• 5+ years of DoD/DAF/CCMD professional or military experience
• Experience developing detailed go‑to‑market plans
• Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
• Exceptional executive communication and presentation skills
• Experience working with and presenting to C‑level executives, IT, and lines of businesses across organizations
• Analytical, data‑driven, and able to demonstrate balanced strategy and planning, and execution skills
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above

• 7+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C‑level executives
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or Master’s degree
• Demonstrated experience in DoD technology leadership roles
• Strong understanding of federal acquisition processes
• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
• Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions
• Deep understanding of legacy and emerging technologies in the Department of Defense and National Security landscape
