Advanced Security System Engineering Manager, ASSET

Security Services Manager – AWS Infrastructure Operations team. The role drives operational security excellence within data centers, managing communications, improving surveillance, implementing security processes, and extracting metrics for continuous improvement. Key responsibilities include leading a chat queue, generating tickets, supporting customers, driving security awareness campaigns, extracting performance metrics, configuring security devices, daily operational security, and translating strategy into tactics.

• Manage chat queue, phone communications, generate and/or manage trouble tickets, handle incoming chats, and provide support to customers.
• Drive security awareness campaigns to enhance security vigilance and effectiveness.
• Determine workflow ticketing and extract/develop performance metrics.
• Configure physical security devices including cameras, readers, and panels.
• Support daily operational security across a data center campus.
• Distill overarching security strategy into daily tactics to achieve management goals.

• Experience with physical security best practices, including application of security systems, investigation techniques and management of contract security guards.
• 1+ year experience in an operations center, control room environment, or technical support.
• 2+ years experience with intrusion detection (alarm systems) and video monitoring systems (CCTV).

• 2+ years overseeing security operations and working with security vendors/contractors.
