Security Officer Security Clearance Patrol Duty – Herndon, VA

Join Allied Universal at a dynamic aero and defense location as an unarmed officer, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. - Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, access points, and perimeter locations, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization in accordance with site policies, and report suspicious, hazardous, and/or unauthorized activity.
- Support access control and facility rules at an aero and defense location, complete required reports, and document incidents, observations, and routine patrol findings.
- An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
