As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) for Security, you will rally alongside a team of highly motivated SDRs to build a qualified pipeline of potential partners. You will prospect partners by phone, email, Linked In, and any other effective channel. You will serve as a subject‑matter expert of all things Cisco Security, positioning new, incubated products and solving today’s most pressing cybersecurity challenges.
You will develop trusted relationships internally and externally, becoming a true storyteller and influencer.
- Build a qualified pipeline of potential partners.
- Prospect partners by phone, email, Linked In, and other channels.
- Act as the face of Cisco Security and a subject‑matter expert.
- Develop trusted relationships internally and externally.
- Position new, incubated products to solve cybersecurity challenges.
- Completion within the past 3 years, or current enrollment with expected completion within 12 months, of a certification or degree program (e.g., Associates, Apprenticeship, Boot Camp, or Certification in a specialized program + 3 years of relevant experience; High School Diploma + 4 years of relevant experience; Bachelors + 2 years of relevant experience).
- Outbound sales and/or lead‑generation experience in a high‑tech or SaaS company.
- Able to legally live and work in the country for which you’re applying, without visa support or sponsorship.
- Experience prospecting in the cybersecurity space.
- Demonstrated success with cold‑calling and outbound prospecting for new customers.
- Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce (SFDC), Hub Spot, or similar platforms.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding ambitious targets.
