Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Physical Security Engineering Manager to lead our physical security technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and managing a high‑performing team of security engineers who design, implement, and maintain physical security systems that protect our facilities, assets, and people. You will drive physical security technology strategy, oversee access control and surveillance systems, and ensure our physical security infrastructure meets the highest standards of reliability and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities- Build, mentor, and manage a team of physical security engineers, fostering their professional growth and technical excellence in security systems.
- Define and execute roadmaps for physical security systems including access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and perimeter security.
- Provide technical guidance on security system architecture, integration, and deployment across multiple facilities.
- Partner with other teams to integrate physical security technology throughout the organization.
- Evaluate, select, and manage relationships with physical security technology vendors and integrators.
- Ensure physical security systems comply with relevant regulations, industry standards, and internal policies.
- Lead response to physical security incidents and drive continuous improvement in security operations and monitoring.
- Stay current with emerging physical security technologies and implement innovative solutions to enhance protection.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.
- Experience in industrial or commercial engineering or project management in mission‑critical facilities including but not limited to data centers, power generation, or oil/gas facilities.
- Experience in data center or mission‑critical facility design with basic multidisciplinary knowledge of mission‑critical systems, design process, pre‑construction requirements and the construction process.
