Overview
The Space AI Talent Center is seeking a highly skilled AI/ML Machine Learning Engineer to join a cross-functional team of experts in research, data science, software development, physics, and mathematics. You will leverage cutting-edge AI/ML tools and techniques to tackle the most complex challenges in Space, in support of national security. This role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with a diverse group of professionals and contribute to the development of solutions that address critical problems in the Space domain.
Responsibilities- Leverage cutting-edge AI/ML tools and techniques to tackle complex challenges in Space, in support of national security.
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team of experts in research, data science, software development, physics, and mathematics.
- Contribute to the development of AI/ML solutions addressing critical problems in the Space domain.
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline (e.g. Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics) or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in a related technical field.
- Advanced experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, or Image Processing.
- Experience with modern software development tools and practices.
- Advanced degree in a STEM discipline.
- Proficiency in one or more of the following programming languages:
Python, Java, C++, C#, or MATLAB. - Experience with Tensor Flow, PyTorch, Keras, or Scikit-learn.
- Experience with RF, SAR or EO image processing algorithms/techniques.
- Experience with AWS or another cloud computing platform.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment.
- TS/SCI clearance.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time. The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five-day work week; some schedules may be condensed, with additional time off beyond Paid Time Off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
