Software Automation Test Engineer Senior

Responsibilities

• Generate development scripts to execute documented test cases, verify software functionality, and report results without manual human intervention
• Develop and execute test plans and test cases
• Perform both manual and automated testing
• Identify, document, and track software bugs/defects and issues
• Develop and maintain testing scripts and tools

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in software testing
• Demonstrated experience in developing and executing test plans and maintaining test scripts and tools
• Bachelor's Degree in one of the following areas:
  Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer and Information Security, Computer Security, Computer Forensics, Information Systems, Systems Engineering or another closely related accredited degree
• In-depth knowledge of mobile and desktop operating systems

• Software development experience including design, implementation, testing, analysis and debugging supporting CNO/CNE
• Experience performing Software Configuration Management
• Experience writing unit tests when developing new software and fixing bugs

The primary work location for the role will be in the Washington Metro Area during the first year, after which the position will transition to Huntsville, Alabama. This provides an opportunity to experience two vibrant regions and broaden professional horizons.

This position requires a government security clearance. Applicants must be U.S. citizens. Clearance Level: Top Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years.
