Senior Software Engineer

C2S Consulting Group is an AWS Consulting Partner, focusing on our client’s applications and workloads to design a strategy and plan to migrate to the AWS environment, and introduce them to the operational benefits of Dev Ops, resulting in more reliable systems, automation at all levels and higher return on investment. We specialize in making the migration to AWS successful for government and commercial entities, and provide services for cloud software development, workload migration, deployment automation and cloud security integration.

• CLEARANCE LEVEL:
  Secret
• BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Development/software engineering or the development of applications for the processing and analysis of data, including knowledge of mid to large scale open source platforms leveraging open source technologies
  • Knowledge of one or more of the following:
    JavaScript, JSON, HTML/XHTML/ESLT/XPathXML, HTTP Header fields, Internet Protocols, SQL CSS, Linux and/or Windows, Shell scripting (VI), ETL, AJAX/XHR, bot detection techniques, Agile software development methodologies
  • Ability to provide technical recommendations on application development initiatives
  • Ability to integrate new software capabilities or functions into an infrastructure
  • Ability to work either independently or in a team environment
• PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience with Kapow COTS
  • Experience with Security practices in an Agile software development environment.
  • Experience with Agile tools such as Jira/Greenhopper.
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud-based application development and implementation.
  • Experience with Rela Database schema design
