• Ability to design, develop, and deploy modular cloud‑based systems
• Experience in developing software using languages such as Java, Python
• Excellent programming skills to ensure proper interpretation and implementation of code
• Documented experience working with data and relational mapping
• Identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues
• Regularly review existing systems and make recommendations for improvements and cost efficiencies
• Develop and maintain cloud solutions in accordance with customer best practices and guidance
• Demonstrated experience working with Agile Scrum based development team
• Interact with clients, provide cloud support, and make recommendations based on customer needs
• Experience with Dev Ops/Platforms:
  Amazon Web Services (S3, RDS, EC2, ECS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, Cloud Formation, etc.), Docker, Ansible
• Documented experience with open‑source technology, software development and system engineering
• Demonstrated experience utilizing Dev Ops tools, such as Git Hub and Jenkins, to enable continuous integration and delivery
• Strong understanding of web services, API, REST

• Familiar with Assessment & Authorization process and associated artifact collection process
• Familiarity with Hadoop distributed file systems (HDFS)
• Background utilizing JIRA for documentation and tracking of software development tasks

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience
• Location: Herndon, VA
• Hours: Contract core hours, 9am – 3pm
• After‑hours on‑call rotation is a requirement. It is normally one week at a time and rotates approximately every eight weeks
• Security Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph
• US Citizenship Required

The likely salary range for this position is $158,855 - $214,921. Salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and contractual requirements and may fall outside this range.
