North Point Technology is looking for a TS/SCI Cleared Software Engineers to support a critical mission. The GEOINT Collection neXt (GCX) Program, awarded May 25 as a 7-year contract, is dedicated to sustaining and advancing the GEOINT Information Management Services (GIMS) system. GIMS is a mission-critical enterprise platform that acts as the primary gateway for submitting and adjudicating GEOINT Information Needs (GINs) and related requirements.

It enables users to search, discover, and retrieve imagery and other GEOINT data, while centrally managing collection, exploitation, dissemination, and production tasks across a broad network of commercial and national providers.

The program employs Dev Sec Ops  and Agile practices, emphasizing communication, collaboration, integration, automation, and performance measurement between software developers and IT professionals. Above all, the program prioritizes operational stability.

Responsibilities:

Build and ship responsive Angular/Type Script features, turning product and UX designs into accessible, high-performance components. Own key UI architecture decisions (components, state, routing, performance), integrate with REST/Graph

QL services, and deliver clean, well-tested code. Partner closely with Product, Design, and Backend Engineering, troubleshoot production issues with root-cause fixes, participate in code reviews, and improve pipelines and developer tooling. Document decisions and implementations to keep the codebase maintainable.

Required Qualifications:

• TS/SCI Clearance
• BS in Software Engineering or related field
• 2-10 years of professional software engineering experience focused on front-end development
• Strong, hands-on expertise with Angular (components, modules, routing, forms, RxJS)
• Proficiency in Type Script, modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS/SCSS
• Experience building reusable component libraries/design systems and consistent UI patterns
• Solid understanding of SPA architecture, client-side performance, and web fundamentals
• Experience consuming APIs (REST and/or Graph
  
  QL), handling auth/session patterns, and error states
• Experience with automated testing (Jasmine/Jest, Karma, Cypress/Playwright, or similar)
• Familiarity with Git workflows and collaborating via code reviews in a team environment
• Ability to work from ambiguity and deliver reliable, user-focused solutions

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with distributed systems and event streaming (Kafka, Rabbit
  
  MQ, or similar)
• Familiarity with geospatial, ISR, or intelligence-domain data pipelines that map to TCPED stages
• Experience with cloud-native deployments (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform)
• Experience with API security and enterprise auth (OAuth2/OIDC, mTLS, RBAC/ABAC)
• Experience with performance profiling and tuning for JVM-based services
• Exposure to IaC (Terraform/Cloud Formation) and platform automation
• Mentoring or leading small technical efforts (design reviews, refactors, standards adoption)
