The Advanced Ground Architecture (AGA) software team is a dynamic group of software engineers creating the future of Ground support with extensibility and adaptability to be used across all Boeing programs. The team focuses on modern software technologies including Java, React

JS, Python, CI/CD pipelines, and Scaled Agile methodologies. The role involves leading and executing large scope Java development for the program’s vision.

• Develop software in conjunction with agile team leadership, including participation at agile events.
• Assist in the execution of Dev Sec Ops  processes to deliver software baseline on sprint boundaries.
• Participate in PI planning as an agile team member.
• Engage with users and other engineers to determine solutions to technical issues.
• Coordinate the development, maintenance, enhancement and optimization of software products and functionalities for systems integrations.
• Lead activities to develop, document and maintain architecture, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software products.
• Debug and lead resolution of issues identified to ensure reliability and efficiency of software products.
• Lead handling of user inquiries, troubleshooting technical issues, and user feedback analysis.
• Lead development, establishment, monitoring and improvement of software processes, tools and key performance metrics that align projects with organizational goals and industry benchmarks.
• Consult on software domains, system-specific issues, processes and regulations.
• Lead design, development, test, and maintenance of non-embedded software throughout end-to-end lifecycle meeting industry, customer, safety, and regulation standards.
• Lead review, analysis, and translation of customer requirements into initial design of software products.
• Lead software project management activities and software supplier management functions.

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Active Top Secret clearance.
• Experience with both Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Experience in developing software products using Agile software development methodologies.
• 5+ years of proven experience with Java, C++, Angular/React
  
  JS, HTML, and CSS languages.
• 5+ years of experience in software development and configuration management tools.

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science; 9+ years related work experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree and 13+ years directly related work experience.
• 17+ years related, relevant experience.
• Experience with software programming languages and databases and the ability to apply to the software domain.
• Programming language expertise in higher order languages, auto-coded languages, and assembly languages.
• Experience with deriving and allocating requirements (e.g., system, sub-system, software) and showing traceability throughout the product lifecycle.
• Experience with software architecture and design methodologies, synthesizing software architectures and designs that meet requirements, characteristics, and constraints.
• Experience with software development processes in compliance with established internal and industry standards, guidelines, and best practices for development, testing, and deployment.
• Experience with implementation, validation, and verification processes, practices, and guidelines to ensure software development quality, performance, and safety.

• Pay ranges:
  Virginia $171,700 - $232,300;
  California $171,700 - $232,300;
  Colorado $160,650 - $217,350.

• Security Clearance:
  Active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance required; U.S. Citizenship required.
• U.S. Person status required for export control compliance.
• No visa sponsorship.
• Shift: 1 (United States of America).
