The Role
Peraton is seeking an experienced Endpoint Software Configuration Management Engineer to join our national intelligence program in Northern Virginia that delivers engineering, application development, deployment, operations, upgrades and sustainment of products and services to achieve our client’s global missions.
The candidate must have demonstrated experience utilizing .NET infrastructure to create software solutions that meet clients’ requirements. The successful candidate will develop, integrate, and enhance applications using Microsoft technologies and contribute to innovative solutions for our clients.
Responsibilities:- Design, develop and implement integration solutions using Azure and other Microsoft technologies.
- Analyze business requirements, mitigate existing on-premises applications to the Azure cloud and integrate them with other application services.
- Engage with customers, project managers, and cross-functional development teams to gather and define requirements, ensuring alignment with mission objectives to facilitate the creation of large complex developments.
- Reformulate existing code to ensure adherence to stipulated guidelines and check that code to detect and remedy errors or omissions.
- Design, develop, and optimize applications and systems integration, including processing-intensive analytics, manipulation of large data sets, real-time systems, and business management platforms.
- Streamline and secure applications, storage, and physical servers.
- Provide detailed input into system design, including hardware/software trade-offs and software reuse strategies, optimizing system-level and individual component functionality.
- Develop and execute test cases to ensure the functionality and performance of the system integration.
- Install, troubleshoot, configure and resolve issues with systems performance.
- Analyze business requirements to determine technology needs and stay cognizant of new technology, trends and innovations to continually improve system performance.
- Apply advanced software engineering methodologies to develop, integrate, and support enterprise-level operational environments.
- Develop, implement and maintain processes, procedures, test cases, test results, issue resolutions, performance analysis, and user guidelines/instructions documentation.
* Travel may be required within the National Capital Region (NCR) on an as needed basis for customer or corporate requirements.*
Position is Contingent on Contract Award Qualifications Basic Qualifications:- Active Top Secret/ Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance with ability to pass a Poly clearance.
- Minimum of 8 years relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree and 6 years of relevant experience or PhD with 3 years relevant experience).
- 4 years experience may be used in lieu of a Degree.
- Proven work experience as a Microsoft Developer or similar, with the relevant Microsoft Certifications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft technologies (e.g., .NET, C#, Azure)
- Experience with software development best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Active TS/SCI with Poly clearances.
- BS Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Hands‑on experience with cloud platform technologies, preferably AWS.
