Full Stack Software Engineer; TS​/SCI

Job Overview

Vantor is seeking Full Stack Software Development Engineers to build innovative software solutions for the defense and intelligence communities. The role focuses on developing containerized micro‑services, front‑end web applications, and back‑end services that use APIs or message buses to communicate. The work will be performed on‑site at one of three locations:
Melbourne, FL;
Colorado Springs, CO; or Herndon, VA.

• U.S. citizen with current TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Software Engineering or a related STEM field
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience
• Experience with at least one of the following:
  Java, C++, Python, Vue.js, React, Kafka (or similar)
• Proficiency with Git and other version control systems
• Experience developing containerized micro‑services
• Experience building front‑end web applications
• Experience building back‑end services that use APIs or a message bus
• Familiarity with Agile development, CI‑CD pipelines, and continuous integration practices
• Ability to work effectively in a geographically dispersed, collaborative team environment

• Experience with formal Agile software development methodologies
• Experience implementing algorithms in production code
• Experience applying design patterns
• Familiarity with aerospace engineering and space operations

• Colorado: $82,000 – $109,000 – $119,900 annually
• Washington, DC Metropolitan Area: $90,000 – $120,000 – $132,000 annually
• Other locations: ranges determined by geographic cost of labor
