Everfox seeks a Software Engineer to enhance the capabilities of cyber products for security‑conscious government and commercial customers. The role focuses on developing and testing new product features, building software tools, and improving test infrastructure and operational support for cross‑domain products, including Linux‑based trusted access thin‑clients.

• Utilize Linux and scripting expertise to support critical customer requirements and enable secure data transfer.
• Engage directly with customers to provide advanced design, analysis, and implementation of our software.
• Work hands‑on in Linux environments, troubleshooting on‑site technical issues and configuring Everfox solutions to deliver required functionality.
• Apply standard networking concepts to design and implement cross‑domain solutions, including failover, coop, load balancing, and interoperability with other enterprise components.
• Develop data inspection policies using proprietary and open‑source programming languages.
• Deliver technical briefings to customers and Everfox corporate leadership as needed.
• Provide training, troubleshooting, and on‑site/remote support to customers.

Full Time, Monday – Friday (standard work schedule with flexibility for mission‑critical requirements). This position may require some minimal travel to meet customer and project needs.

• Active (currently in use) TS/SCI clearance.
• Ability to obtain required U.S. ITAR or EAR work authorizations.
• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Security, or equivalent.
• Experience in Linux software development using Java, Python, Go, C/C++, and/or bash.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP networking and related protocols (HTTP, SSH, IPSEC, TLS/SSL, etc.).
• Basic understanding of private and public key management.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• 6+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience with Red Hat Enterprise, Fedora, or Ubuntu Linux operating systems.

• Experience with security design and architecture of Cross Domain solutions.
• Agile or Scrum development experience.
• Experience deploying cloud technologies such as MS Azure or AWS.
• Experience in distributed, parallel, or clustered processing environments.
• Experience with virtual desktop technologies such as RDP, Citrix Receiver, or VMware Horizon View.
• Experience with thin‑client usage, management, and deployment scenarios.
• Experience developing cloud‑based technologies on Microsoft Azure or Amazon AWS.

Base Pay Range: $118,400 - $134,800 - $150,800 USD per annum. Salary may vary based on experience, location, and business needs. In addition to base salary and bonus plans, Everfox offers a generous benefits package, including flexible PTO, a 401(k) match, and health coverage contributions.
