Software Engineer RAK

We are seeking a talented and experienced User Interface Designer/Developer to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with mission partners and end-users to create functional user interface design mock-ups that align with their needs and requirements. Your primary responsibility will be to quickly build prototypes to gather mission partner feedback, iterate on solutions based on that feedback, and ultimately deliver a desired solution.

• Collaborate with mission partners and end-users to understand their needs and requirements for user interface design.
• Build functional user interface design mock-ups in partnership with mission partners/end users.
• Rapidly develop prototypes to facilitate mission partner feedback and make iterations based on that feedback.
• Develop and maintain applications using Angular 14, Node.js, JavaScript, Material Design, and other relevant browser technologies (HTML, HTTP, CSS).
• Utilize Adobe Creative Cloud tools to enhance the visual aspects of user interfaces.
• Experience with AWS is desired.
• Work independently in an agile software development environment to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Experience with Kanban is desired.
• Collaborate effectively in a small, fast-paced agile team environment.
• Utilize agile development tools and practices, including JIRA and Confluence, to manage stories/tasks and document project progress.
• Conduct unit testing to ensure the quality and reliability of developed applications.
• Utilize Git Hub for version control and collaboration.
• Experience with Jenkins is desired.
• Participate in daily standup meetings to communicate project status and any blockers.
• Engage in technical discussions, forums, and retrospectives to continuously improve development processes and practices.
• Participate in routine customer meetings and ad hoc sessions to gather feedback and address customer needs.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience in building functional user interface design mock-ups and prototypes.
• Strong proficiency in Angular 14, Node.js, JavaScript, Material Design, and other relevant browser technologies.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud tools.
• Familiarity with AWS services is a plus.
• Experience working in an agile software development environment, with knowledge of Kanban methodologies.
• Proficiency in agile development tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Experience with unit testing and version control systems (e.g., Git Hub).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
