- Ability to design, develop, and deploy modular cloud-based systems
- Experience in developing software using languages such as Java, Python
- Excellent programming skills to ensure the proper interpretation and implementation of code
- Documented experience working with data and relational mapping
- Identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues
- Regularly review existing systems and make recommendations for improvements and cost efficiencies
- Develop and maintain cloud solutions in accordance with customer best practices and guidance
- Demonstrated experience working with Agile Scrum based development team
- Interact with clients, provide cloud support, and make recommendations based on customer needs
- Experience with Dev Ops/Platforms:
Amazon Web Services (S3, RDS, EC2, ECS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, Cloud Formation, etc.), Docker, Ansible - Documented experience with open-source technology, software development and system engineering
- Demonstrated experience utilizing Dev Ops tools, such as Git Hub and Jenkins, to enable continuous integration and continuous delivery
- Strong understanding of web services, API, REST
- Demonstrated experience working with Agile Scrum based development team
- Familiar with Assessment & Authorization process and associated artifact collection process
- Familiarization with Hadoop distributed file systems (HDFS)
- Background utilizing JIRA for documentation and tracking of software development tasks
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience - Location:
Herndon, VA - Hours:
Contract core hours, 9am - 3pm - Security Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph
