Aerospace Modeling&Simulation Engineer II

Vantor is seeking an Aerospace Modeling & Simulation Engineer II to design and implement high fidelity models and simulation tools that support aerospace and defense scenarios. You will build physics based and data driven models, integrate them into modern software architectures, and collaborate with developers, data engineers, and client stakeholders. Responsibilities include requirements analysis, model design, algorithm implementation, validation and verification, performance tuning, and documentation.

You'll work in an agile, cloud centric environment focused on automation, scalability, and measurable client outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement aerospace modeling and simulation solutions for client projects
• Translate requirements into physics based and data driven models and algorithms
• Integrate models into modern software architectures and simulation frameworks
• Validate and verify model accuracy, reliability, and performance
• Optimize simulations for scalability and runtime efficiency in cloud environments
• Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and client stakeholders in agile teams
• Create technical documentation, test plans, and model usage guidelines
• Contribute to continuous improvement of modeling tools, libraries, and standards
