Frontend Developer

The best front-end work makes something complicated feel intuitive. Here, you’ll do exactly that building interactive applications that let users explore scenarios, visualize data, and see how changing one variable can reshape an outcome.

We’re looking for a Front-End Software Engineer who enjoys building with React, has an eye for design, and wants to help shape the experience from the first prototype to the finished application.

You’ll work alongside software engineers and researchers on data-rich applications that help users explore complex scenarios and make informed decisions. You’ll have a voice in how those tools look, feel, and function—and room to stretch your skills along the way.

• Data visualizations that help users explore patterns, compare scenarios, and understand results.
• Intuitive user experiences that make complex workflows easier to navigate.
• Exploratory prototypes that turn early ideas into something your team can test and refine.

You’ll contribute throughout the process: shaping concepts, making design decisions, implementing features, testing, demonstrating, and deploying your work.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• At least 4 years of relevant experience.
• A solid foundation in web application design and front-end development.
• Strong communication skills and an interest in solving problems collaboratively.
• WebGL or OpenGL for interactive graphics.
• Redux, Spring Boot, Java, or Python.
• Front-end testing and mocking frameworks.
• Back-end development, API design, or relational and document databases.
• Experience improving application security and responsiveness.
