• Operate company vehicle in a safe and professional manner.
• Immediately report any negative incidents with other drivers, accidents and customers to Dispatcher or Dispatch Manager.
• Load and unload shipments between various destinations as assigned.
• Prepares, receives and provides appropriate documentation for delivery or pick up to ensure timely and accurate transportation.
• Responsible for vehicle care, cleanliness and required equipment in each vehicle.
• Follow instructions and pre-established guidelines and procedures.
• Maintain a valid drivers license.
• Ensure shipments are checked in by Dispatcher or Shipping staff when arriving at Base.
• Maintain legible detailed accurate manifests and run sheets.
• Turn in paperwork at the end of your shift or as dictated.
• Ensure vehicle is locked and secure at all times during the shift.
• Check-in periodically with Dispatcher to report location and status.
• Maintain clean and professional appearance at all times and follow all current security regulations and policies.
• To perform any department specific functions as defined by the management team.
• To undertake any other reasonable duties/responsibilities at the request of the management team.

• Valid driver's license.
• Problem-solving and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Adherance to company policies and procedures.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Possess and maintain Forklift certification
• Possess and maintain function specific dangerous goods (DG) certification.
• May be required to frequently lift and/or move packages weighing up to 25 LBS throughout a given shift, and to occasionally lift and/or move packages weighing up to 70 LBS.
• While performing the duties of the job, the employee is required to walk; sit; use hands; reach with hands and arms; balance & stoop to lift packages – including lifting packages from the floor over their head.
• Adept in operating a pallet jack and forklift.
• Customer Service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Dangerous Goods/Restricted Article Regulations preferred.

Kuehne+Nagel reviews pay ranges regularly to ensure competitive and fair pay based on industry market data.
