Groundworker Finisher

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for experienced External Finishers (Temporary) to join our teams on a busy project in Lower Herne
. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality external works, ensuring all finishing aspects of groundwork and infrastructure packages are completed to specification, on time, and to an excellent standard.
Duration 2 weeks

• Carrying out external finishing works including kerbs, edgings, paving, slabs, and concrete surfaces
• Ensuring all external finishes are completed accurately to line, level, and specification
• Completing snagging works and conducting final quality checks on external packages
• Installing, adjusting, and finishing manholes, covers, and frames
• Trowelling, patching, and making good concrete and finished surfaces
• Working from drawings and specifications to achieve high-quality finishes
• Supporting site teams to bring external works to completion
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working area
• Following all site health & safety procedures at all times

• Proven experience as an External Finisher within groundworks or construction projects
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
• Ability to read and interpret site drawings
• Good understanding of levels, alignment, and finishing standards
• Strong awareness of site health & safety
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively within a team
• Right to work in the UK

• CPCS / NPORS (CSCS-affiliated) tickets*
• Experience in kerbing, paving and external finishing works
• Knowledge of concrete finishing techniques
• Experience using laser levels or setting out equipment
• 5+ years of experience in groundworks or finishing roles
• Established gangs or teams with a strong track record
