Development Associate, Moody College of Communication
Purpose
To support the fundraising efforts of Moody College by coordinating administrative tasks, managing donor data and assisting with donor engagement strategies and events.
Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to multiple frontline fundraisers, including the Chief Development Officer, with calendaring/scheduling, travel coordination and meeting preparation
- Manage gift processing tasks including depositing checks, coordinating gift allocations and maintaining accurate donor records in the university’s CRM system
- Support the donor cycle: engagement events, material preparation, annual mailings and external communication
- Assist with accurate report analytics
- Support day-to-day office operations, including ordering office supplies, checking mail and keeping a well-organized workspace
- Support donor related events with on-site/day-of coordination
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in communication or related field
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Experienced in managing multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent relationship building and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

- A driven leader who approaches things with a sense of urgency
- Demonstrated professionalism and discretion in handling confidential information
- Familiarity with donor CRM databases (Salesforce or the like)

- May work nights and weekends as needed for events.
