B&T USA is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Engineer to join our dynamic team in the firearms industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Solid Works, with the ability to create precise technical drawings and models. This role will support both engineering and manufacturing efforts, contributing to the development and production of high-quality products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Manage engineering projects from start to finish, including design, development, testing, and production launch.
- Develop and maintain detailed 3D models and 2D technical drawings using Solid Works.
- Apply DFM principles to ensure designs are optimized for efficient manufacturing and assembly.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure project success.
- Lead design reviews, provide technical guidance, and implement feedback to improve product performance and reliability.
- Conduct engineering analysis, including tolerance stack-ups, FEA, and material selection.
- Troubleshoot and resolve design and manufacturing issues throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including specifications, reports, and timelines.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficient in Solid Works, including 3D modeling and 2D drafting.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and mechanical design principles.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tasks.
- Experience with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Familiarity with ERP systems and document control processes.
- Basic knowledge of firearms design.
- Work performed in an office and manufacturing environment.
- Exposed to machine shop manufacturing elements such as noise, dust, odors, fumes, etc.

On-Site - May be required to work after-hours as needed to meet production demands.
