We are seeking an Analyst to join the NA/PEX (National Accounts and Private Exchanges) Actuarial team to support the pricing, forecasting, and financial management of our fully insured business. This position provides a unique opportunity to build actuarial expertise through hands-on experience with pricing models, large-scale data analysis, and strategic business decision-making. The Analyst will collaborate with actuarial, underwriting, finance, and other business partners to evaluate emerging trends, develop pricing assumptions, enhance analytical tools, and support both new and renewal business opportunities.
Through exposure to a broad range of actuarial functions, this role offers a strong foundation for professional development and actuarial exam progression while contributing directly to business performance and growth.
- Developing the underlying pricing factors and assumptions used in NA/PEX pricing
- Maintaining pricing tools and assisting with enhancements
- Conducting ad hoc pricing studies and requests from business partners
- Monitoring of emerging results
- Collaborating with Underwriting on plan sponsor pricing opportunities for both new business and renewal business
- Collaborating with other departments to assist with pricing assumptions
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science strongly preferred. Candidates with degrees in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Chemistry, or a closely related quantitative field will also be considered.
- 0-1 years of related experience required.
- Pursuing ASA with 1-2 exams passed.
- Experience working with large and detailed data sets.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Solve solid technical, analytical, and creative problem‑solving skills
- Be organized, data driven, statistically minded and demonstrate attention to detail
- Be self-motivated, intellectually curious with a desire to continuously improve processes
- Be adaptable as business needs and priorities evolve
Bachelor's degree or higher in actuarial science or related field 1-2 Actuarial exams.

Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $55,620.00 - $ This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full‑time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short‑term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
