Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineer
- Database Developer to join our outstanding Engineering team. As a Software Engineer
- Database Developer, you will play an important role in maintaining and updating our databases, ensuring accurate data analysis and reporting, and collaborating with team members to efficiently implement new queries, resolve issues with automated jobs, and improve performance. You will also leverage AI-driven techniques to automate error classification, enable predictive analytics for recurring issues, and deliver intelligent reporting, dashboards, and optimized data retrieval solutions.

• Manage data extractions from the SAGE Data warehouse cubes, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and modifications.
• Ensure that the servers’ hardware and software (e.g., RARS) are updated.
• Update drivers, plug‑ins, run maintenance services, keep indexes current, adapt to IT network changes, and protect against viruses.
• Monitor hardware and software performance.
• Preserve data: organize data and secure backups.
• Make changes to the server configuration as needed.
• Maintain internal and IB databases for reporting.
• Update lookup tables for new errors and error classifications.
• Update cubes to enable required queries for data analysis.
• Create new queries to generate reports from existing cubes (internal testing and install base).
• Monitor and troubleshoot daily automated jobs that run the reports.
• Collaborate with other resources for issues or modifications with the SAGE DW interface.
• Perform pre‑emptive maintenance and detect data clogs that affect report generation.
• Update stored procedures for Excel reports with new errors, removing obsolete ones and adding system info.
• Apply AI/ML techniques for database performance optimization (query tuning, indexing strategies, workload prediction).
• Implement intelligent anomaly detection in system performance and data flows.
• Enable predictive maintenance of database infrastructure.

• Leverage AI techniques for automated error classification and pattern detection.
• Utilize predictive analytics to identify recurring system/reporting issues.
• Generate intelligent reports and recommendation systems.
• Build and maintain smart dashboards with predictive insights and anomaly alerts.
• Use AI‑assisted tools to optimize report queries and improve data retrieval efficiency.

• Database Administration & Performance Optimization (SQL Server, indexing, query tuning, backups).
• Data Warehousing & ETL Management (SAGE DW, cubes, data extraction, ETL processes).
• Reporting & SQL Development (complex queries, stored procedures, automated reporting).
• System Monitoring & Troubleshooting (job monitoring, performance tracking, issue resolution).
• AI/ML & Advanced Analytics (anomaly detection, predictive analytics, AI‑driven optimization & dashboards).
