Tool Crib Attendant

B&T USA is seeking an experienced Tool Crib Attendant. The Tool Crib Attendant is responsible for managing the tool distribution in the machine shop.

• Maintain tool functionality - receive, inspect, and catalog incoming tools and equipment
• Organize and maintain the tool crib to ensure easy access and efficient storage
• Issue tools and equipment to employees as needed, keeping accurate records of all transactions
• Gather and kit tools needed for upcoming jobs
• Perform regular inventory counts to ensure the accuracy of stock levels
• Collaborate with the engineering and procurement team to procure necessary tools and equipment
• Coordinate with vendors for tool repairs or replacements as needed
• Assist in demand planning by analyzing usage patterns and forecasting future needs
• Analyze tool-related issues to prevent recurrence

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience in an industrial environment with familiarity of machinery and tools.
• Understanding of tools and equipment, and ability to perform minor maintenance tasks.
• Strong materials handling skills, with the ability to safely handle various tools and equipment.
• Ability to maintain accurate records of tool equipment, including tracking quantities, monitoring usage, scheduling repairs, and ordering replacements as needed.
• Basic computer proficiency with MS Office (Excel and Word); familiarity with inventory‑management software is a plus.
• Must meet ATF requirements for firearm possession.
• Work performed in a manufacturing machine‑shop environment.
• Exposed to machine‑shop manufacturing elements such as noise, dust, odors, fumes, etc.
• Fast‑paced environment.
• Must be able to access and navigate B&T’s facilities.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Frequently required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and stoop or crouch.

FT – Hourly

On‑Site Monday to Friday. May be required to work after‑hours when needed to meet production demands.
