Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Maintain tool functionality - receive, inspect, and catalog incoming tools and equipment
- Organize and maintain the tool crib to ensure easy access and efficient storage
- Issue tools and equipment to employees as needed, keeping accurate records of all transactions
- Gather and kit tools needed for upcoming jobs
- Perform regular inventory counts to ensure the accuracy of stock levels
- Collaborate with the engineering and the procurement team to procure necessary tools and equipment
- Coordinate with vendors for tool repairs or replacements as needed
- Assist in demand planning by analyzing usage patterns and forecasting future needs
- Analyze tool-related issues to prevent recurrence
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in an industrial environment with familiarity of machinery and tools.
- Must have an understanding of tools and equipment, as well as the ability to perform minor maintenance tasks.
- Strong materials handling skills, with the ability to safely handle various tools and equipment.
- Ability to maintain accurate records of all tool equipment including tracking quantities, monitoring usage, scheduling repairs, and ordering replacements as needed.
- Basic computer proficiency, including knowledge of MS Office (Excel and Word). Other specialized software related to inventory management is a plus.
- Must meet ATF requirements for firearm possession.
- Work performed in a manufacturing machine shop environment.
- Exposed to machine shop manufacturing elements such as noise, dust, odors, fumes, etc.
- Fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to access and navigate B&T’s facilities.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Frequently required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; and stoop or crouch.

FT – Hourly
On-Site Monday to Friday. May be required to work after-hours when needed to meet production demands.
