Lee’s Marketplace Bakery Clerks are charged with assisting in any way possible in the total operation of the Bakery Department. Some of the responsibilities may include packaging, labeling, displaying, and verifying the quality of the baked goods produced by the Bakery department while engaging with guests in person, over the phone, or through digital communication tools. Bakery Clerks tend to work in a consistently fast-paced environment while maintaining Lee’s Marketplace's high standard of personal, exemplary customer service.
This position is expected to learn and maintain knowledge of Lee’s wide variety ofbakery options and other specialty food products, creating a great engagement and shopping experience for each guest who visits the Bakery.
Key
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Helps with the production, development, preparation, and maintenance of Bakery items.
- in accordance with recipes and quality standards.
- Assists in the displaying and restocking of Bakery products. Ensures shelves and cases are filled, fresh, rotated, faced, and cleaned.
- Maintain accurate food inventories.
- Learn about, and educate customers about, Lee’s Marketplace bakery products and services.
- Maintains training and certification by actively attending in-person trainings and consistently utilizing digital training platforms.
- Maintains, processes, and completes orders through digital and in person order processing.
- Other responsibilities as needed.
- Greet and assist guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Provide knowledgeable answers to guest inquiries.
