Maintenance Technician
We are looking for a detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team at our Herriman, Utah facility. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment, with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Key Responsibilities
- Perform regular preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing machinery, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, as well as welding and fabrication tasks.
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve issues with equipment and machinery to minimize downtime.
- Keep detailed records of all work performed and communicate effectively with production teams and supervisors.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and contribute to the 5 S program across the plant.
- Work with area Team Leaders to resolve technical issues quickly and efficiently, both independently and as part of a team.
- Provide feedback and ideas for continuous improvement in processes, safety, and maintenance efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience or training in troubleshooting, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic. Experience with welding, fabrication, pipe fitting, and electronics is highly desired.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing role, with a solid understanding of machinery and equipment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage tasks efficiently.
- Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds and work lity to pass forklift certification (post-hire).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with vendors, colleagues, and supervisors.
- Must be able to read and follow instructions.
- Must have a valid Utah driver’s license.
Education & Certification
- Relevant technical certifications or documented training in maintenance functions.
- Proven experience with computers and solid work history.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and schematics.
