Responsibilities- Install, repair, and maintain HVAC systems (furnaces, AC units, swamp coolers, heat pumps, etc.)
- Perform system diagnostics and provide honest, clear explanations of issues
- Complete service calls efficiently and professionally
- Maintain accurate job notes, documentation, and communication with dispatch
- Ensure all work meets safety standards and manufacturer specifications
- Provide exceptional customer service and represent B&Z Heating and Air with integrity
- Assist with emergency/after‑hours calls as needed
- Keep company vehicle stocked, clean, and organized
- HVAC experience preferred (but willing to train the right candidate)
- EPA certification a plus
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in attics, crawlspaces, and outdoor environments
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Professional attitude and strong communication skills
