Senior C++ Software Engineer, Medical Imaging

A medical technology company is building next-generation software that guides surgeons in real time during operations, using live imaging to improve precision and patient outcomes. As the company grows its surgical software platform, they are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help shape its core technology.

What you'll do:

• Design, build, and maintain production software in C++ and Qt
• Help shape software architecture and technology choices
• Build and deploy software through CI/CD pipelines
• Work with AI researchers to bring machine learning models into production
• Partner with Product, QA, UX, and Regulatory teams
• Deploy software onto dedicated Linux medical systems
• Build with cybersecurity and regulatory compliance in mind
• Mentor other engineers on the team

What you'll bring:

• Bachelor's in Maths, Computer Science, or equivalent experience, plus 6+ years relevant background
• Proven Qt experience (GUI, multithreading, Signals/Slots, custom widgets)
• Good Python or scripting knowledge
• Linux development and deployment experience
• Docker, Team City (or similar), and Git experience
• Understanding of software security principles (Secure Boot, TPM, key management)
• SaMD experience is a strong preference
