** Position Summary*
* • Responsible for performing a variety of duties in relation to imaging patients and ensuring smooth operations of the Ultrasound department while providing appropriate levels of patient care and customer service.
** Education*
* • Associates degree in Radiology/Ultrasound/Ultrasound or Certificate Program in Radiology/Ultrasound
** Licenses and Certification
*** Licenses and Certification (Excluding Breast Center locations):
* 1 of the following
* RDMS registered or registry eligible
* Registry eligible must have proof of passing ARDMS SPI exam prior to start date and passing score on any one corresponding specialty exam within six months of hire
* ARRT (S) or ARRT (VS) registered
* CCI registered
* BLS* Must be vascular certified with RVT, RVS, ARRT(VS), CCI within one year of hire
* Licenses and Certifications (Breast Center locations only):
* 1 of the following
* RDMS registered or registry eligible
* Registry eligible must have proof of passing ARDMS SPI exam prior to start date and passing score on any one corresponding specialty exam within six months of hire
* ARRT (BS) or ARRT (M) registered - Registered in Mammography within 6 months
* BLS* IEMA – Radiography

** Role Specific Responsibilities*
* • Performs ultrasound and radiography exams as appropriate
• Utilizes PACS and EMR systems.
• Maintain appropriate IV/Contrast competency.
• Follows established protocols and procedures for proper patient position, exposure control, and radiation protection.
• Communicates clearly and effectively with all involved in the patient care process.
• Cleans and inspects departmental equipment
• Cleans and stocks Imaging rooms.
** Compensation (Commensurate with experience):**$34.43
