Job Description

Travel Registered Nurse - Operating Room (Days)

Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse - Operating Room for a 13-week travel assignment in Herrin, IL 62948.

  • 10 hr shifts- 4 days/week;
    Shift ; 4 days a week call required
  • Start Date:

  • Hourly Pay: $37.50
  • Non-taxed Stipend: $1246.00
  • Weekly Total Pay: $2371.00
  • EMR Used: EPIC
  • Dress Code:
    Scrubs
  • Weekend/ Call Requirements: 1 weeknight and 2 weekend days a month for call requirements, possibly more depending on the need of the department/ Will float to other facilities if needed. Call as needed
Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients to determine mental, physical, and spiritual needs.
  • Assess, plans, implements and evaluates an individual plan of care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary health care team.
  • Provides explanations and instructions to patient/responsible person.
  • Demonstrate ability to use nursing clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient condition.
  • Contribute to a healthy workplace environment by managing conflict using professional communication skills.
  • Meets Core Measure responsibilities related to patient care.
  • Participate in continuing education.
  • Maintain complete and accurate medical records.
Compensation
  • Weekly Pay (hourly) + Non-taxed Stipend (if eligible)

Requirements
  • Must have at least 2-year minimum experience working as an RN in OR.
  • Current Illinois Registered Nurse license is required
  • Current CPR/BLS Card is required
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability

  • Drug screen and background check (facility required)
