Job Summary:
Seeking a Compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care within Medical Surgical units. This role involves managing patient needs, ensuring safety, and collaborating with healthcare teams during night shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments following established protocols.
- Monitor patient conditions and document clinical observations accurately.
- Respond promptly to patient needs, including emergencies and call lights.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Float to other Medical-Surgical departments as needed, adhering to scope of practice and competencies.
- Ensure compliance with all required certifications including NIHSS, BLS, and ACLS depending on unit.
- Valid RN license in the state of practice.
- Current BLS certification; NIHSS and ACLS certifications preferred or required based on department.
- Proven experience in Medical-Surgical units or similar clinical settings.
- Ability to respond effectively in high-pressure situations.
- Strong communication and clinical assessment skills.
- Flexibility to work every other weekend and float to various units as necessary.
