Location: Herrin, Illinois
Pay Rate: $56.00 to $60.00/hr
Contract: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Night shifts, 7:00 PM-7:00 AM
Total Working Hours: 36 Hours/Week
Experience: Minimum 2 years required
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract opportunity in Herrin, Illinois. This role supports inpatient rehabilitation patients, including a high neuro population, and requires strong clinical judgment, patient assessment skills, and the ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to inpatient rehab patients.
- Assess patients' physical, mental, and spiritual care needs.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
- Monitor patient condition and report clinical changes promptly.
- Provide patient and family education, explanations, and discharge support.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Maintain complete and accurate documentation using EPIC.
- Support Core Measure responsibilities and quality patient care standards.
- Contribute to a positive care environment through professional communication.
- Active Illinois Registered Nurse license required.
- BLS/BCLS certification required.
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required.
- Inpatient rehab, medical-surgical, or neuro nursing experience preferred.
- Stroke certification preferred but not required.
- EPIC experience preferred.
- Night shift availability required.
- Every third weekend availability required.
- Strong assessment, communication, and clinical judgment skills required.
