Overview
TNAA Total Med RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Herrin, Illinois.
Responsibilities- Provide bedside care for a variety of patients, including pre- and post-op patients.
- Assess and document patient data, prepare, administer and record prescribed medications, and report any adverse reactions.
- Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
- Prepare equipment and assist the physician during examinations and treatment of patients.
- Educate patients on surgical procedures and participate in discharge planning; initiate patient education plan as prescribed by the physician.
