IL - RN Inpatient Rehab - Nights -JR

Job Overview

This position is a night shift (7 pm–7 am) for Inpatient Rehabilitation. It covers the same responsibilities as a medical floor unit, excluding heparin drips. The unit serves a high neuro population; stroke certification is a strong plus but not required.

Night shift: 7 pm–7 am. Weekends: every third weekend, including Friday and Saturday nights. Sundays are treated as part of the regular work week, although flexibility can be accommodated when needed.

• Assess patients to determine mental, physical, and spiritual needs.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individual care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary health‑care team.
• Provide explanations and instructions to patients and their responsible persons.
• Use nursing clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient condition.
• Contribute to a healthy workplace environment by managing conflict with professional communication skills.
• Meet Core Measure responsibilities related to patient care.
• Participate in continuing education.
• Maintain complete and accurate medical records.

• Current Illinois Registered Nurse license.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
