Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Orthopedic

Location: Herrin, IL

Pay: $54 to $58 per hour

Shift Information: Nights – 3 days x 12 hours

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Start Date: ASAP (03-30-2026)

• Assess patients to determine mental, physical, and spiritual needs and provide compassionate care
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
• Provide clear patient and family education and discharge instructions to support recovery
• Use clinical judgment to recognize and promptly report changes in patient condition
• Maintain complete, accurate, and timely documentation in the medical record
• Contribute to a positive workplace by managing conflict professionally and supporting colleagues
• Meet Core Measure responsibilities and participate in continuing education to maintain excellence

• Current Illinois Registered Nurse license (required)
• Current CPR / BLS certification (required)
• ACLS certification (required)
• NRP and PALS preferred when caring for neonatal or pediatric patients
• Experience or comfort working in orthopedics, surgical, or progressive care settings preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, excellent documentation skills, and teamwork mindset
