American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for an Inpatient Rehab position requiring an active IL RN license and at least 2 years of experience.

• Work in the Inpatient Rehabilitation unit of a hospital setting
• High neuro patient population with stroke care emphasis
• Perform similar duties to a medical floor, excluding Heparin drips
• Day shift schedule
• 13-week assignment

• Active Illinois RN license required
• Current BLS/BCLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required
• Stroke certification preferred but not required

• Assess patients' mental, physical, and spiritual needs
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Provide patient and family education and instructions
• Recognize and report changes in patient condition using clinical judgment
• Maintain complete and accurate medical records
• Participate in continuing education opportunities
• Contribute to a positive workplace environment through professional communication and conflict management
• Work within a nationally recognized health system known for excellence in cancer, cardiac, stroke, bariatric, breast imaging, and rehabilitation services
