ResponsibilitiesThe EA is responsible for the support and coordination of the department including operations, planning, budget management, and assets development for the VP. The EA should have strong organizational skills to effectively handle competing and changing priorities with keen attention to detail, accuracy, and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. This includes preparing presentations, reports, and other executive materials, as well as handling inquiries and collaborating with other organizational EAs.
Initiative and follow‑through on projects are essential, as is the ability to always maintain confidentiality and exhibit school values.
The EA also acts as the team’s office manager, which includes extensive scheduling, fiscal responsibilities, and other administrative responsibilities. In addition to the VP support responsibilities, the EA assists in coordinating Communications and Marketing activities and events as they support MHS strategic goals. This role also supports special projects and provides communications and marketing support with a broad understanding of the discipline.
This is an on‑site, year‑round position that compensates between $61,000 and $82,000, plus an excellent benefits package.
- An associate degree is required, preferably in marketing, communications, or business.
- Minimum of five years of experience in an administrative support role.
- Exceptional budgeting and budget management skills required.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills required.
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft and Google applications.
- Exceptional organizational skills to work in a dynamic environment with competing priorities.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills are required including an ability to collaborate and influence.
- Candidate must demonstrate a high degree of integrity as all MHS staff are considered role models for students.
- Candidate should be willing to actively engage with students.
Compensates between $61,000 and $82,000, plus an excellent benefits package.
