MHS is seeking a Senior Administrative Secretary to support the school’s Career and Technical Education Department. The Senior Administrative Secretary provides administrative support to the Director of Career and Technical Education. This position plays a critical role in ensuring smooth operations for the department and the scholastics team. This is a twelve‑month on‑site position that compensates between $22.91 and $30.59 an hour (based on years of experience), plus an excellent benefits package.
Responsibilities- Managing complex and dynamic scheduling and coordinating meetings.
- Collaborating extensively within MHS and participating in committees as needed.
- Ensuring timely and effective communication with staff, students, and external partners.
- Preparing documentation including correspondence, reports, and presentations.
- Maintaining databases and ensuring records retention protocols are followed.
- Providing budget oversight and processing of financial transactions.
- Providing other administrative support to ensure the office operates efficiently and effectively.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 3 years of administrative experience including financial administrative responsibilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google, and Apple, as well as databases and office equipment.
- Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to collaborate effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, including an ability to proactively anticipate and prepare.
- Demonstrated professionalism, confidentiality, and commitment to high quality customer service.
- A high degree of integrity, as all MHS staff serve as role models for students.
- Candidates should be “all in” and eager to engage actively with students.
