This position is responsible for operating the remote control inflatable blimp during the Hershey Bears home game intermissions at GIANT Center, as scheduled. This includes set up, helium filling, pre-flight balancing/weighting, operation, prize distribution management and storage, with a focus on safety, fan interaction, and professionalism.

Inflate, anchor, and safely store aircraft prior to and immediately following intermission flight.

Pilot remote-controlled blimp unit, ensuring stable positioning and movement for optimal fan experience and sponsorship execution.

Operate blimp in a manner that engages fans safely, ensuring a positive in-game experience and act as a brand ambassador of blimp sponsor.

Perform basic maintenance, identify damage, and report any issues to management.

Assist Blimp Operator with spotting during blimp operation, as assigned.

Perform other duties as assigned

Must be 18 years of age or older

Minimum 2 years of related Sports/Entertainment experience

Must have a valid driver’s license

FAA Part 107 Certification preferred, but not required

Completion of high school or GED

• 5 years of experience in lieu of education

Skilled in the use of Google Suite and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.

Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.

Proficient working under pressure in an energetic environment.
