Manager, Pricing Strategy – Popcorn Salty
Summary: The Manager, SRGM Pricing Strategy will support the creation and implementation of a net price realization strategy and approach that maximizes total value creation within Hershey's U.S everyday portfolio—within the context of the overall HSY 3‑year strategic pricing plan. This will include executing complex analyses to develop insights‑based, consumer‑back recommendations on strategic pricing, price/pack architecture (PPA), and mix‑driving initiatives. PPA is a key pillar of Hershey's U.S. growth strategy.
The role also will have full end‑to‑end ownership of managing and enhancing Hershey's new integrated pricing tool in collaboration with IS and outside vendors, including training other members of the SRGM team. Collaboration with Packtype Strategy, Commercial Planning, Marketing, Sales, Category Management, Finance, U.S. Strategy, and IS is essential. The position requires personal leadership, initiative, critical and strategic thinking, cross‑functional collaboration, the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines, and strong business and financial acumen.
The individual will develop pricing recommendations and drive decision making with cross‑functional peers and leadership.
- 40% Execute complex and comprehensive analyses to support the development of short‑term pricing moves and long‑term pricing strategy recommendations that drive value creation and deliver on Hershey's U.S. portfolio/package‑type business objectives (e.g., share vs. profit, innovation, mix improvement).
- 15% Analyze packtype price positioning and the impact of price gaps to optimize pricing relative to competition.
- 15% Analyze pack size ratios to establish effective pack/price curves, and investigate the creation of new packs to address channel and/or occasion‑based white‑space opportunities.
- 10% Monitor in‑market pricing to proactively identify and minimize opportunities for, or instances of, marketplace disruption.
- 10% Assess cross‑category pricing relationships and likely impacts to Hershey.
- 10% Assist in the development, management, and execution of performance management processes, including standardized KPI reporting for planning and business review purposes.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required- Very strong technical skills (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint/Thinkcell, Tableau, Alteryx), with proven ability to synthesize multiple data sources to develop insights and strategy recommendations.

- Strong working knowledge of SAP is a plus.
- BA/BS in Finance, Economics, Marketing, Business Administration, or equivalent.
- 5+ years of business experience, with strong preference for multiple years in an FMCG analytical role(s).
- Ideally experience in Finance, Marketing, Sales, or an analytical function (e.g., Category Management).
- Familiarity with FMCG industry customer base and working knowledge of retail merchandising and in‑store execution tactics preferred.
