We are seeking a talented and creative video editor to transform raw clips and video footage into high-quality finished videos. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling through video, and the ability to craft engaging content that resonates with our diverse audience. This individual will play a crucial role in producing high-quality video content for various marketing initiatives across our resorts, attractions, and entertainment properties.

Job Functions:

- Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, engaging videos that align with the company’s brand and marketing goals *

- Assist in the development of storyboards, scripts, and shot lists for video projects *

- Perform color correction, audio editing, and sound design to enhance overall video quality *

- Incorporate motion graphics, animations, and visual effects to elevate visual storytelling *

- Collaborate with the marketing team to understand project objectives, target audiences, and messaging strategies *

- Stay current with video production trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices in social media and digital marketing *

- Organize and maintain a video asset library for easy access and repurposing *

- Perform photo editing and color correction for marketing images *

- Keep up-to-date with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends in video production, editing, social media, AI and digital marketing *

- Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

- Completion of high school or GED

- Must be 18 years of age or older

- Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Video Editing, Photography, Graphic Design, Communications, or proven experience in these fields, preferably in a marketing or creative agency setting

3 years of experience in lieu of education

- Minimum of 3 year(s) of experience in Video Editing, Creative Agency, Digital Marketing

- Must have a valid driver’s license

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

- Strong understanding of cinematography, composition, and storytelling techniques.

- The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities

- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Davinci Resolve, After Effects, etc.) and knowledge of post-production processes

- Proficiency in photography and post-production (preferred, not required)

- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop and Illustrator) (preferred, not required)
