Position Details

This is a part-time position located in Hershey, Pennsylvania, with work hours primarily in the summer and fall. The company will not provide relocation assistance or other employment benefits for this position.

Job Responsibilities
  • Greet guests and assist them as they move through the attraction.
  • Listen to customers and provide information to assist them.
  • Memorize a short script and speak clearly to an audience.
  • Clean and replenish assembly line machines and supplies.
  • Scan guests' entry tickets to the attraction.
  • Assist guests on the candy bar wrapper computers.
  • Have a general knowledge of the machinery and candy-making process.
Customer Service Pledge
  • Must demonstrate our Customer Service Pledge.
  • Must be approachable showing that our guests are our priority.
  • Must initiate contact with our guests by being courteous and greeting them with a smile.
  • Must be willing to listen to our guests and provide for their needs.
  • Must provide a genuine Thank You to every guest.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Maintain a neat appearance, meet the uniform standards, and follow the Good Manufacturing Practices Guidelines provided at hire.
  • Push, pull, lift, and carry 30 pounds.
  • Walk or stand for 5–8 hours.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and twist.
  • Capable of vocal performance for a period of 30–60 minutes at a time.
  • Communicate effectively with guests, fellow coworkers, and function effectively as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Customer service skills.
  • Teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Problem‑solving skills.
  • Leadership/ability to take initiative.
  • General retail knowledge a plus.
Education and Experience Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred but not required.
  • Experience: Customer service experience is preferred but not required.
