Customer Service Rep, Event Manager / Planner
Location: Hersheypark, Hersheypark Entertainment Complex, 100 Hersheypark Dr, Hershey, PA 17033, USA
OverviewHersheypark amusement park spans 121 acres and welcomes guests to experience Hersheypark Happy all year long! As the largest amusement park in Pennsylvania, Hersheypark is home to more than 70 rides including 15 coasters and 20+ kiddie rides, as well as a zoo and an entire water park.
Responsibilities- Handle a high volume of incoming and outgoing phone calls
- Respond to written and verbal inquiries relating to events, schedules, policies, and procedures
- Process employee schedule changes, shift switches, and communicate updates to employees, supervisors, and department managers
- Process employee attendance infractions, counsel employees on attendance records, and apply progressive disciplinary procedures
- Assist with the coordination of supplemental staffing programs
- Assist with answering payroll questions for part-time employees
- Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications- Must be 18 years of age or older on the date of applying.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to quickly learn other computer‑based applications and databases
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Innovative and self‑motivated to complete tasks
- Detail‑oriented with proven organizational skills
- Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and professional image in compliance with Hershey Entertainment & Resorts guidelines
- Ability to safeguard confidential information
- Ability to work without a conflict of interest
- Must be available year‑round at least two (2) days and 10 hours per week including at least two Saturdays and Sundays per month, and holidays (up to four days and 32 hours may be available during some months)
- Must be able to work shifts up to nine (9) hours between the hours of 6am and 11pm (some weekday shifts may be available in the evenings/nights)
- Typical shifts occur mostly indoors; meeting volunteers may require walking outside in various weather conditions
- Physical requirements include standing, sitting, walking up and down up to two flights of stairs, walking and lifting/carrying a minimum of 20 pounds
