Penn State Health Hershey Medical Center is seeking an entry-level faculty position for a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Plastic Surgeon with fellowship training in Microsurgery to join our growing academic practice. This Assistant Professor level position is ideal for candidates looking to launch their academic career with advanced training and proficiency in microsurgical breast reconstruction and lymphedema treatment.
What We’re Offering- Join a team of 9 plastic surgeons and 3 APPs
- Provide the full spectrum of plastic and reconstructive surgery
- Focus on growth of microsurgical breast reconstruction and lymphedema care in the region
- Participate in education of an ACGME-accredited integrated plastic surgery residency program
- Engage in clinical or basic science research supported by a well-equipped laboratory and research staff

- MD, DO, or equivalent degree
- BC/BE in Plastic Surgery with completion of fellowship training in Microsurgery
- Ability to acquire a license to practice in the State of Pennsylvania
- Must be able to obtain valid federal and state narcotics certificates
- Strong commitment to patient care, medical student and resident education, research/scholarly activity and an academic perspective on clinical care
