Interventional Radiologist

Penn State Health Community Medical Group

Join a thriving, well-established medical group serving primarily Dauphin and Cumberland counties in PA, where you will become part of a collaborative TEAM of dedicated IR fellowship trained physicians practicing in a high-quality community setting.

Position Highlights

Level II trauma center and new, state-of-the-art Cancer Center

Practice Environment

Dedicated IR suites, robust imaging resources, and full support from a comprehensive radiology team, including IR and DR physicians.

Support Staff

Experienced IR physicians, nurses, techs, nurse navigators, and advanced practice providers to optimize workflow and patient care.

Growth Potential

Strong institutional backing and physician leadership with significant opportunity to expand service lines and develop skillsets.

Ideal Candidate
  • Fellowship trained in IR
  • Comfortable with a broad range of community-based IR procedures
  • Team-oriented, patient focused, and eager to help shape the future of IR services in the region
  • No after hour or diagnostic radiology call required.
  • Competent in basic Diagnostic Radiology- x-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, fluoroscopy with focus on IR.

What we’re seeking
  • D., D.O., or foreign equivalent
  • Completion of accredited training program
  • Ability to acquire a license to practice in the State of Pennsylvania
  • BC/BE in Interventional Radiology
  • Must be able to obtain valid federal and state narcotics certificates.
  • Collegial and Driven individual who is passionate about expanding IR services
