Description:
This is a need for a Pediatric Radiologist.
Skills needed include proficiency in fluoroscopy studies such as Barium Swallow, UGI, VCUG, RUG, and BE/water-soluble enema.
Experience with newborn obstruction, post-operative ostomy, and mucous fistula studies is necessary.
Procedures required include air reduction enema for intussusception, advancement of feeding tube from gastric position into the duodenum, and contrast injection of central line/port for malfunction.
The schedule is Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM.Each week will also include night procedure call.
Weekend procedure call is 24 hours on call from 8 AM to 8 AM.Important to note that all overtime must be approved by department administration.
There are no guaranteed hours, and the callback is for patient-facing hours.
Lunch is not included in the shift and requires the provider to clock in and out for a 30-minute break.
Patient encounters per shift are variable.
The facility has a trauma level of 1 and is pediatric level 1.
