Description

Milton Hershey School (MHS) is one of the world’s best pre‑K through 12th grade private schools, where approximately 2,200 students from disadvantaged backgrounds are provided with a cost‑free home and a top‑notch character & career‑focused education. Thanks to the generosity of Milton and Catherine Hershey in 1909, the school is fully endowed today, with the resources to ensure students can thrive.

The school has prepared over 12,000 graduates to lead fulfilling and productive lives and is expanding to serve more students.

MHS is seeking a dynamic High School Learning Assistance Teacher (LAT) to join a mission‑driven team serving approximately 900 students in grades 9–12. MHS offers small class sizes, well‑resourced classrooms, state‑of‑the‑art technology, and a highly collaborative environment focused on ensuring students reach their full potential and achieve at or above grade level.

MHS’s LAT’s provide high quality, career‑focused, rigorous, and engaging direct instruction, as well as co‑teach and tutor students with learning support needs. They use data to differentiate and drive achievement; collaboratively support whole‑child development and character development; and provide remediation beyond regular classroom hours.

This is an on‑site position in Hershey, PA with a highly competitive salary range and an excellent benefits package.
