The Hershey Gardens is looking for a part-time coordinator to collaborate with the education and program staff on design and layout of beds, maintenance of existing displays, and education about the Hoop House and Student Garden. The Hoop House and Student Garden are dedicated to educating students and guests on the cultivation of fruits and vegetables. All crops harvested from these spaces are donated to local community organizations.
MajorDuties/Responsibilities:
- Maintain Hoop House and Student Garden as an educational resource. Responsible for coordinating with Education staff in the planning and design of exhibits, seasonal displays and daily care and maintenance of plantings in these areas.
- Assist Manager of Education and Public Programs with development and execution of educational programs utilizing the Hoop House and Student Garden.
- Assist with other programs as needed under the direction of the Manager of Education and Public Programs.
